Q: Who are Lily Rose Cards?

A: Lily Rose Cards grew out of a hobby which I developed from my cottage in a pretty village in Cornwall.  The name 'Lily' & 'Rose' came from the middle names of our two gorgeous daughters; who love watching me design and make the cards!

Q:  Bespoke Cards?

A:   Take a Wedding card for example, you may know what wedding dress/outfit or theme the bride/groom is using, in which case I would do my best to replicate the dress or theme within the card.

Or if someone has a particular love of shoes or handbags; again I will design a card based on these specific requirements. 

Q:  How do I request a Bespoke card?

A:  You just need to e-mail or phone us with your requirements.  - I am also happy to show you a proof of the card before you purchase it.

Q: Who will deliver my cards?

A: Delivery is by Royal Mail and postage costs are calculated using Royal Mail's standard tarriffs, by size and weight.  For example a standard 5x7 card would cost £0.46p (as of Summer 2011) plus 25p for packaging.

Q:  How long will it take after ordering?

A:  Standard Cards: I will aim to post out the next day, subject to weekends and bank holidays, and then it will be down to delivery time depending on which Royal Mail service you require.  This is not guaranteed but I will keep you informed should there be any delay that I am aware of.

A: Bespoke Cards:  It will depend on what is required, and the sourcing of different items, but generally I would aim to get the card out within a week plus postage time.

Q: How is it packaged?

A:  It will be packaged in a cardboard backed envelope

Q: Can I return a card if I'm not satisfied, or if it has been damaged in transit?

A:  Standard cards: Although we would hope you are always satisfied with our cards, in the unlikely event you wish to return an item, or it has been received damaged, please contact us by e-mail in the first instance.  If your purchase has arrived with damaged packaging then it may be possible to claim through Royal Mail therefore evidence may be required.

A: Bespoke cards: Due to the card being unique these will be non-refundable, unless the item is faulty or in the unlikely event that the wrong item was sent.

What if I change my mind after purchasing my card?

A:  You can return any item within 14 days of receipt.  Providing we receive it in it's original, unopened condition you will receive a full refund or exchange minus postage costs, unless the item is faulty or incorrect and in which case we will also pay for postage costs. 

Please note the cards are the responsibility of the customer until they are returned to Lily Rose Cards, therefore please retain proof of purchase in order to make a claim from Royal Mail should your package be lost.

Q: How do I pay? (- When our shop goes 'live':)

A:  Through our shop via Paypal, which is a safe and secure way to pay - we will not even see your payment details.  You don't even have to have a paypal account to pay via Paypal! 

Q:  Are there alternative payment methods?

A:  If Paypal is not suitable for you, please feel free to contact us prior to purchasing, to see what can be arranged.

Please note that 'Cleared' payments will always be required before we can send a card out.
